Noor Meet infrastructure
The platform uses Next.js on Vercel, a dedicated Supabase project for email authentication and PostgreSQL, and a self-hosted LiveKit media server (plus TURN) on a separate VPS. A Vercel deployment alone cannot run the media server.
Create a dedicated project, enable email OTP and install the meetings SQL migration with row-level security.
Run your own LiveKit SFU and TURN on a VPS. Configure TLS, ports, API key and server secret.
Set public URL and anon key; securely set the Supabase service-role key and LiveKit credentials server-side. Redeploy.
Required configuration
NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL, NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY, SUPABASE_URL, SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY, LIVEKIT_URL, LIVEKIT_API_KEY, LIVEKIT_API_SECRET.
Rooms are unlisted but anyone with the valid link can join in this initial version. Before open launch, add host approval, abuse prevention and stronger guest admission control.
